- 1. Collar and survey data are sourced from GDW (Geoscientific Data Warehouse – GSNSW internal database). 2. This was validated and added to from DIGS reports as new data was found. Missing collar Relative Levels (RL’s) were assigned from the regional Digital Elevation Model (DEM). 3. Downhole lithology data was sourced from DIGS reports in various formats including digital data, pdfs and scanned handwritten logs. This was compiled into the one downhole file where lithology was loaded as reported - i.e. codes, words etc (LITH1) as well as translated into a GSNSW standard (GSNSW_LITH1). 4. Weathering was interpreted from information within the drill logs or from lithology codes. This has been kept to a basic ‘Fresh basement’, ‘Weathered basement’, ‘Transported cover’ or ‘Unknown’. 5. Additional stratigraphy detail that correlates to the NSW Seamless Geology database was added. Collar locations and drillhole survey data were compared to rock units in the NSW Seamless Geology database. This information included UNIT_NAME, NSW_CODE, GROUP, and SUPERGROUP. 6. The report RIN number where the lithology logs were sourced was included. 7. The hyperspectral data (from HyLoggerTM) was compiled into a single downhole file and includes a file each for SWIR, TIR and VNIR. 177 of the total 539 drillholes in the dataset contain spectral data. 8. End of hole depths have been validated and made consistent across all downhole files. 9. Summary information sheets for each drillhole (pdf’s) were created using the StraterTM program 10. Cobar drillhole 3D projects were prepared in GOCAD® Mining Suite and Geoscience ANALYST—comprising drillhole collar locations and downhole survey data, together with downhole lithological and stratigraphic information 11. Information within this dataset was compiled up until 1st August 2023. An earlier version of the dataset was released in October 2020. 12.
